The Cooperstown Junior Livestock Show has been a summer tradition in Central New York since 1947. The Fenimore Farm & Country Village Farmer’s Museum in Cooperstown NY collaborates with the CCE 4-H programs in surrounding counties to host three days of learning and growing by caring for and showing their animals. The event truly is a celebration of youth in agriculture as it tests the skills of youth handlers ages eight to eighteen who present animals (dairy cows, beef, swine, dairy goats, meat goats and sheep of various breeds) that they own, care for, and have prepared for competition.
Find the event and registration dates for this annual show, schedule of events, class lists, information about scholarship and more at the Fenimore Farm & Country Village website.
